Patch 11.05 for Valorant is next, and it will be the first post-launch update for Season 2025 Act 5. Not much has been announced about the update at this point, meaning we will have to wait until the rollout begins to know what's changing.
However, that doesn't mean we are empty-handed, as we can make some predictions and assumptions based on the release format Riot usually follows.
When does Valorant patch 11.05 come out?
Patch 11.05 of Valorant is scheduled to come out on Tuesday, September 2nd, or Wednesday, September 3rd, depending on the region you currently play.
The rollout should begin around 6:00 AM PT for North America, LATAM, and Brazil servers. On the other hand, the rollout for European servers always starts the next day, on Wednesday, at 4:00 AM CEST.
What can we expect from this patch?
Since patch 11.04 was quite significant, which was expected given that it launched a new act, we don't expect any major additions with version 11.05.
Nonetheless, the new update could bring some agent balance changes, adjusting some characters that are not performing well in the current meta or bringing even more adjustments to characters who were recently modified, like Chamber, Sage, and Sova.
The patch can also adjust other elements of the game, like maps, gameplay systems, etc. We don't expect any Competitive map pool changes as the latest update introduced Abyss back in and removed Icebox to make space for it.
UI changes, quality-of-life additions, and bug fixes are other things we could see in this update. With the replay system expected to arrive with the next patch, version 11.06, this update could lay the groundwork for it before it launches.
