T1 have become Valorant Masters Bangkok champions after a thrilling victory against G2 Esports.

The VCT 2025 Americas Kickoff champions were the favorites to win the grand final after taking down the Valorant Champions 2024 EDward Gaming in the Upper Bracket Final. As the first team to lock a grand final spot, G2 Esports were awarded with a two-map ban advantage.

The American roster was the first side to win a map as they took a one-sided 13-5 win on Lotus. However, the South Koreans quickly tied the series with a 13-9 victory on Haven.

Starting from map three, no game was easy as all rounds mattered. G2 Esports restored the series lead with a 13-11 victory on Abyss and, in the fourth map, the Americans only needed two rounds to win the championship. It was then when T1 completed the comeback with a 15-13 win after narrowly forcing overtime.

Finally, the South Koreans had to do the same on the final map of the series, Pearl, where G2 Esports reached match point first. However, after losing the final two regulation rounds, the Americans were pushed to overtime for the second time in a row. Eventually, T1 won the game after a 16-14 win.

With this result, T1 became the second Pacific side to win a Valorant Masters after Gen.G Esports, who won the Valorant Masters Shanghai in a thrilling grand final against Team Heretics. Curiously enough, T1's Kim "Meteor" Tae-oh was also part of the golden roster.
