Europe and MENA League 2026 Stage 1 - Team of the Week 2

Here's a look at our Team of the Week 2 for the EML 2026 Stage 1.

Benjamaster G2 Esports

The Europe and MENA League 2026 Stage 1 Week 2 has concluded with Virtus.pro and G2 Esports leading the standings, followed by FNATIC, Team Falcons, and Twisted Minds.

Including two entries, two flexes, and an IGL, here's our team of the week for Week 2 of the Europe and MENA League 2026 Stage 1:

  • Entry: Benjamin “Benjamaster” Dereli (G2 Esports)
  • Entry: Jimmy “DEADSHT” Vojtasik (FNATIC)
  • Flex: Pavel “p4sh4” Kosenko (Virtus.pro)
  • Flex: Nikita “RORICK” Kruchinkin (Virtus.pro)
  • IGL: Karl “Alem4o” Zarth (G2 Esports)

Benjamin “Benjamaster” Dereli (G2 Esports)

Benjamaster was a key element in G2 Esports’ victories against Shifters and Team Falcons. The Dane was so consistent that he averaged the exact same SiegeGG rating in both games (1.27) and he was only outplayed by his IGL Alem4o.

Across both matches, the Dane secured an entry balance of 3-2 (+1) and a KOST of 72. He also averaged a KPR of 1.02 and a combined K-D of 26-17 (+9).

Jimmy “DEADSHT” Vojtasik (FNATIC)

Although the Swiss player had a strong performance in FNATIC’s second match of the week against Shifters, DEADSHT made this week’s team after his 1.86 match against Team Heretics.

The former Wolves Esports player excelled against the Italians, particularly on defense. He secured an ace on round seven and by round nine he had already collected a total of ten kills across FNATIC’s three initial defenses. He ended the game with 20 kills to his name.

In total, DEADSHT finished the week with a K-D of 30-15 (+15) and a KPR of 1.29. He mainly played hard and soft breachers on attack and a wider variety of operators on defense, mainly Goyo and Solis. He engaged in eight entries, finishing the week with a balance of 4-4 (+0).

Pavel “p4sh4” Kosenko (Virtus.pro)

The Russian stole the show in the Bears’ first match of the week with a SiegeGG rating of 1.55 and a perfect KOST against Geekay Esports. Against the MENA esports organization, p4sh4 also secured two plants.

In terms of KOST, his match against Twisted Minds wasn’t as good as he averaged a KOST of 54—located way below the rest of his teammates, whose KOSTs were located between 72 and 82. Nevertheless, p4sh4 ended the week with a positive SiegeGG rating, as he secured a 1.10 against the BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City semifinalists.

Nikita “RORICK” Kruchinkin (Virtus.pro)

RORICK wasn’t Virtus.pro’s best player in either of their victories against Twisted Minds and Geekay Esports, but he was the most consistent player across both matches as he averaged a SiegeGG rating of 1.34.

Against Geekay Esports, the Russian completed two clutches. Meanwhile, against Twisted Minds, he secured a plant. Combining both matches, he had a positive entry balance and a positive K-D while playing a mix of support operators, providing his teammates with constant help.

It’s also worth mentioning that RORICK averaged a survival of 50 across both matches, making him the best on this metric in the league. The Russian currently owns a survival of 53—meaning he’s the only EML 2026 Stage 1 player to have survived over half of the rounds they have played.

Karl “Alem4o” Zarth (G2 Esports)

The commander, the furry lover… has made this week’s team; who would have thought? Jokes aside, the Six Invitational 2023 and Six Mexico Major champion was in great form this week as he averaged a combined SiegeGG rating of 1,46 across his games against Shifters and Team Falcons.

Alem4o was outstanding for G2 Esports as he was the samurai’s best player in both matches. He averaged a KOST of 75 and a surprising entry balance of 5-1 (+4) despite being the team’s IGL. For context, the Brazilian headed to this week’s games with an entry balance of 2-1 (+1) after playing against Geekay Esports and Team Heretics.

Logically, a player that has been so solid while also playing as an IGL for his team can’t be ignored; the Brazilian fully deserved a spot in this week’s Europe and MENA League 2026 Stage 1 team. Can he manage to keep up this form?
