Pride Month is just around the corner, and it’s making its way to Blizzard’s acclaimed hero-shooter Overwatch 2. The event introduces a variety of new content celebrating Blizzard’s diverse roster of LGBTQIA+ heroes, including Venture, Lifeweaver, and Soldier: 76.
Among them, Soldier: 76 is receiving a brand-new, free skin available to all players during Pride Month. Starting May 30, players can claim Soldier: 76’s ‘Resilient’ skin along with the ‘Rainbow Smoke Bomb’ emote, completely free.

Rainbow Road.
Simply log in to Overwatch 2 between May 30 and June 30. That’s it. No quests, no matches to grind, just log in during the event window, and you’ll receive the ‘Resilient’ skin for Soldier: 76 instantly.
The skin comes with the ‘Rainbow Smoke Bomb’ emote, which highlights Jack’s vibrant and expressive side, layered beneath his stern and battle-hardened exterior.
The ‘Resilient’ Skin is one of many free cosmetics Blizzard has offered over time. Overwatch 2 regularly hosts in-game events that reward players with free skins, whether through Twitch Drops or simply by logging in or playing during special promotions.

Soldier: 76
Pride Month in Overwatch 2 has become a tradition. It includes updates like the reworked Midtown map, now featuring a rainbow crosswalk. This year, the celebration also brings a new short story comic titled Future’s Past, which explores Soldier: 76’s relationship with Vincent, his estranged partner.
In addition to Pride Month, the ongoing Street Fighter 6 collaboration is still live, bringing fan-favorite Street Fighter characters into the Overwatch universe. Expect cosmetics like Junker Queen as Chun-Li, Winston as Blanka, Kiriko as Juri, and more. These limited-time items are available via in-game microtransactions until June 2.
