The mid-season update for Overwatch 2 Season 16 will drop soon, meaning a new set of patch notes is also due. This update should bring not only new content like the cosmetics for the Street Fighter 6 collaboration, but also changes to the gameplay.

The mid-season patch for Overwatch 2 Season 16 is scheduled to come out on Tuesday, May 20th at 11:00 AM PT (7:00 PM BST). PC players will be able to preload the update a few days before its release to have everything ready.

The patch notes for the Overwatch 2 Season 16 mid-season update should be posted a day before its release or at the same time it comes out.

However, the developers have already confirmed that Freja will be introduced in Stadium once this patch comes out. She will be the first hero to be added to the game's newest ladder.
