Season 2025 Act 4 is arriving soon in Valorant, meaning new content is on the way. The game is currently celebrating its fifth anniversary with a special event that offers free new cosmetics, however, the new Act is expected to bring significant additions.
While we wait for more details, here is everything we know about the new season's content.
When does Valorant Season 2025 Act 4 start?
Season 2025 Act 4 of Valorant is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, June 25th, for all servers. Although start times vary, we expect the season to kick off around 6:00 AM PT/2:00 PM BST.
All the new content will be added to the game with patch 11.00, which will come out on Tuesday, June 24th, or Wednesday, June 25th, depending on the region you play.
Valorant's new map Corrode
The new Act brings a new competitive map called Corrode. The map was first teased with the Season 2025 Act 3 launch trailer, where we saw someone playing on it for a brief second, and a second tease was shown during the latest dev update video.
The video showcases some concept art and even gives up a few seconds of gameplay on what appears to be the final version of the map. The setting looks medieval, almost as if the map takes place in a village.
The map was seen in action for the first time in a showmatch held before the Valorant Masters Toronto grand final, which ended with Paper Rex winning their first top flight international championship.
Riot already confirmed that the map will be added to the Competitive map rotation from day one. On top of that, RR loss will be reduced to 50% during the first two weeks, while the RR players gain from winning will work as usual.
Agent buffs and nerfs
While Riot Games has yet to officially confirm this information, ValorantUpdates already leaked the buffs and nerfs that will be made to the agent pool in Season 2025 Act 4. Here's a look at all of them:
Sova
Sova will be nerfed in Season 2025 Act 4. The changes made to the Russian initiator include:
- Owl Drone:
- Enemies will now hear a warning when they're being watched by the Owl Drone
- Recon Bolt:
- The Recon Bolt is now louder and easier to track.
Reyna
Reyna will be nerfed in Season 2025 Act 4. The changes made to the Mexican duelist include:
- Leer (Flash):
- HP decreased: 100 >> 80
- New audio and visual feedback for the enemy team on leer damage
Neon
Neon will be nerfed in Season 2025 Act 4. The changes made to the Filipino duelist include:
- Relay Bolt (Stun):
- Windup time increased: 0.8s >> 1s
Phoenix
Phoenix will be nerfed in Season 2025 Act 4. The changes made to the British duelist include:
- Curveball (Flash):
- Windup time increased: 0.5s >> 0.6s
Waylay
Waylay will be buffed in Season 2025 Act 4. The changes made to the Thai duelist include:
- Refract:
- Minimum Time in Refract: 0.5s >> 0.35s
- Unequip Time decreased: 1s >> 0.8s
- Delay after reactivation decreased: 0.1s >> 0.05s
- Lightspeed:
- Unequip Time Decreased: 0.8s >> 0.6s
- Saturate:
- Windup Before Explosion decreased: 0.75s >> 0.6s
- Size Increased: 10m >> 12m
Killjoy
Riot Games is deploying a fix to Killjoy's Lockdown ability. The change is so minimal that it's difficult to be seen as a nerf. Here's what's changing:
- Lockdown:
- Detain Pulse Delay Increased: 0.05s >> 0.15s
Omen
Riot Games is tweaking Omen's Dark Cover. The ability will no longer play an audio cue within 12.5 meters for enemies.
Valorant map pool changes
Riot Games will make changes to the competitive map pool of the game with the release of Season 2025 Act 4, as Bind and Corrode will be added, while Split and Pearl will be removed.
Other details
