Apart from kicking off Season 2025 Act 1, patch 10.00 for Valorant brought a few changes to the competitive map pool. And the next set of changes has also been announced.
Unlike other shooters, not every map is always available in the Competitive playlists. Instead, Riot selects a handful to include in the map pool and leaves a few out. With this system, developers can work on inactive maps, whether to fix an issue, add new stuff, or modify their layout.
We have gathered all the information you need to know about the current map pool in case you don't know what maps are on the game.
Valorant map pool
The game features two separate map pools, one for Competitive, Deathmatch, and Premier queues, and another for the remaining game modes. Here is how the map pools are organized after update 9.08:
Unrated, Swift Play, Spike Rush, and Escalation map pool
All maps are available when queueing up for the previously mentioned game modes, including the most recent addition, Abyss. This change was implemented after the arrival of patch 8.11, switching things up and allowing players to enjoy every map the game has to offer.
Now that all maps from the PC version are available on consoles, the map pool is the same across all platforms.
Competitive, Deathmatch, and Premier map pool
The competitive playlists still feature a restricted map pool and here is the complete list of maps available on all platforms:

- Abyss
- Bind
- Fracture
- Haven
- Lotus
- Pearl
- Split
Patch 10.00 brought the most recent map pool rotation, removing Ascent and Sunset while adding back Fracture and Lotus.
As promised by Riot, the competitive map pool will receive changes more often this year and the next rotation has already been announced. This will arrive with patch 10.04, where Abyss and Bind will rotate out while Icebox and Ascent will return.
Since the map pool is universal across every platform, this upcoming change will affect both PC and console players.
We will update this article whenever changes are announced or drop into the game to reflect the correct map set.
