Masters Toronto is underway, and with Season 2025 Act 4 approaching soon for Valorant players, a couple of changes are coming to the current competitive map pool.
Unlike other shooters, not every map is always available in the Competitive playlists. Instead, Riot selects a handful to include in the map pool and leaves a few out. With this system, developers can work on inactive maps, whether to fix an issue, add new stuff, or modify their layout.
We have gathered all the information you need to know about the current map pool in case you don't know what maps are in the game.
What is the Valorant map pool?
The game features two separate map pools, one for Competitive, Deathmatch, and Premier queues, and another for the remaining game modes. Here is how the map pools are organized after patch 10.11:
Unrated, Swift Play, Spike Rush, and Escalation map pool
All maps are available when queueing up for the casual game modes. This change was implemented after the arrival of patch 8.11, switching things up and allowing players to enjoy every map the game has to offer.
Competitive, Deathmatch, and Premier map pool
The competitive playlists still feature a restricted map pool, and here is the complete list of maps available on all platforms:

- Ascent
- Haven
- Icebox
- Lotus
- Pearl
- Split
- Sunset
The latest change came with update 10.08, where Fracture was removed from the rotation to make space for Sunset's return.
The next change arrives with patch 11.00 as Riot will directly introduce the newest map that the season brings, whose name remains unknown, to the Competitive playlists.
On top of that, leaks have indicated that Abyss will also make a return to the rotation during the next Act. However, we still don't know if this map will be added at the start of Act 4 or sometime later.
We will update this article whenever changes are announced or go live in the game to reflect the correct map set.
