Team Falcons qualified for Rainbow Six Siege's Esports World Cup 2026 after taking down G2 Esports in the Upper Bracket Semifinals of the Europe and MENA League 2026 Stage 1.

G2 Esports had a great start to the series with a one-sided 7-2 victory on Consulate where the former Team Falcons player Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu excelled with a SiegeGG rating of 1.72. However, the Falcons bounced back as they won the next two maps, Clubhouse and Nighthaven Labs, with 7-3 and 7-5 scores.

Marc "jume" Steinmann was Team Falcons' best player across the final two maps of the series mainly thanks to his performance on Clubhouse. There, the German averaged a SiegeGG rating of 1.56. The rest of his teammates averaged negative ratings. In G2 Esports, Zack "Stompn" Lamb was the best player with a SiegeGG rating of 1.22.

Finally, although Nighthaven Labs was the closest map of the series, Team Falcons had no player who stood out above the rest. Although Josh "Yuzus" Pritchard was the team's best player with a SiegeGG rating of 1.37, Faith "Solotov" Türker and jume closely followed the British players with SiegeGG ratings of 1.27 and 1.26, respectively.

With this victory, Team Falcons secured themselves a spot at the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2026, joining Team Secret and Al-Ula Club. Meanwhile, this was G2 Esports' first defeat in the stage, and will have to play against FNATIC later today as only the winner will be in Paris, France, next month.
