Team Falcons become first team to qualify for BLAST R6 Major Osaka

Team Falcons have become the first team to qualify for the BLAST R6 Major Osaka after their 2-0 victory against Geekay Esports at the BLAST R6 Europe and MENA League 2026 Stage 2 Playoffs.

The team's win against Geekay Esports also means they are qualified for the Six Invitational 2027. At the time of writing, Team Falcons have got 1,985 SI Points and are right behind DarkZero Esports in third place in the global standings.

Team Falcons' best result at a BLAST R6 Major was a second-place finish at the BLAST R6 Major Munich, where they lost the grand final against M80. Recently, the players reached the semifinals at the BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City. They were eliminated by the eventual champions DarkZero Esports.

It's also worth noting that Team Falcons' win against Geekay Esports also means that the team will start from the Swiss Stage as they have already secured at least a third-place finish at the BLAST R6 Europe and MENA League 2026 Stage 2 Playoffs. Next week, they will play against the winner of the game between G2 Esports and Virtus.pro.
