The Mexican roster of Team Cruelty has qualified for the North America League 2025 after winning the LATAM North Challenger Series 2025. The team has also secured USD$12,000 for taking the qualifier's first place.
The Latin American lineup had a pleasent start to the LATAM North Challenger Series 2025 as they only lost three of the first 31 rounds played, including victories against Pelukingdom and Associates.
However, the team found some opposition this weekend. Although their series against Galácticos included 7-2 and 7-1 wins on Chalet and Skyscraper, the players lost the second map of the series, a 7-3 defeat on Nighthaven Labs.
Finally, in the grand final against Associates, the team experienced a Déjà Vu as they lost Nighthaven Labs (5-7) but won Skyscraper (7-1) and Chalet (7-4) to secure the region's spot to compete in the North America League 2025. Meanwhile, Associates, Galácticos, and Los Retirados will take part in the North America League 2025 Challenger Series.
Historically, Team Cruelty has been the most internationally represented Latin American esports organization in Rainbow Six Siege as they competed in the BLAST R6 Major Manchester and the Esports World Cup 2024. The team hasn't only got international experience but have also competed in multiple North American competitions, with their most-recent performance in the region being a third-place finish at ELEMENT FOUR.
