South America League 2026 Stage 1 - Team of the Week 2

Here's our Team of the Week 2 in South America's top flight.

FaZe Clan VITAKING

The second week of the South America League 2026 Stage 1 was played between June 20 and June 21. Here's a look at our Team of the Week, including two entries, two flexes, and one IGL:

  • Entry: Vitor "Peres" Peres (LOS)
  • Entry: Roberto "Loira" Camargo (FURIA)
  • Flex: Henrique "Flastry" Pennachia (LOUD)
  • Flex: Gabriel "Hatez" Kobuszewski (Ninjas in Pyjamas)
  • IGL: Victor "VITAKING" Augusto (FaZe Clan)

Vitor "Peres" Peres (LOS)

Peres has proven to be one of the most in-form players not just in South America but in the whole ecosystem. The Brazilian is delivering great individual displays consistently, and this weekend was no exception.

Although LOS could only win one of their two matches, Peres was the team's best player in both of them. He averaged a SiegeGG rating of 1.99 against Black Dragons and a 1.40 against FaZe Clan.

Against Black Dragons, Peres finished the game with a K-D of 11-1 (+10) and a KOST of 100. Meanwhile, his K-D against FaZe Clan was 13-9 (+4). Across both games, he secured a positive entry balance, a 3-0 (+3), as well as a positive KPR.

Roberto "Loira" Camargo (FURIA)

Loira was a fundamental player in FURIA's weekend, averaging the highest SiegeGG rating in the Black Panthers' victory against Team Liquid with a rating of 1.34. He was also the team's best player against Imperial Esports with a SiegeGG rating of 1.11.

Despite ending the weekend with a negative entry balance, he was a consistent pain for both teams as an entry. The Brazilian ended up averaging an entry balance of 4-5 (-1). He also averaged a KOST of 74 and very decent survival and KPR stats.

Henrique "Flastry" Pennachia (LOUD)

LOUD completed a perfect weekend with regulation victories against INTZ and Team Liquid Alienware; one of the main reasons why that happened was their player Flastry.

With a SiegeGG rating of 1.51, the Brazilian was their best player against Team Liquid Alienware. One day before, the player had averaged a SiegeGG rating of 1.23 against the former Challenger Series 2026 lineup.

Gabriel "Hatez" Kobuszewski (Ninjas in Pyjamas)

Hatez's weekend can be divided into two: his match against FaZe Clan and his match against Fluxo W7M. Against the two-time world champions, the Brazilian was the worst player of the game with a SiegeGG rating of 0.30. However, against Fluxo W7M, the ninja averaged a SiegeGG rating of 2.21.

Ignoring his performance against the current world champions, Hatez produced an outstanding individual display against Fluxo W7M as he averaged a KPR of 2.00 across the nine rounds played against the Brazilians. He finished the game with a KOST of 88 and a K-D of 18-5 (+13). Additionally, he secured a plant for his team as well as two clutches.

Despite his performance against FaZe Clan, we decided to put Hatez in this week's Team of the Week given his strong his performance against Fluxo W7M was.

Victor "VITAKING" Augusto (FaZe Clan)

Despite playing as FaZe Clan's IGL the Brazilian averages the highest SiegeGG rating (1.27) in the region since the start of South America's Kickoff. This weekend, VITAKING was immense once again.

The Brazilian secured SiegeGG ratings of 1.63 and 1.46 against Ninjas in Pyjamas and LOS, respectively. He was FaZe Clan's best player in both matches.

In terms of K-D, VITAKING finished the weekend with a balance of 23-8 (+15). Therefore, across 23 rounds played, he only died in eight. It also means that he finished the weekend with a KPR of 1.00 despite mainly playing support operators.

Following the conclusion of last weekend, VITAKING is the second-highest rated player in the league (1.32) only surpassed by Hatez's 1.37.
