Earlier today, Ubisoft surprised Rainbow Six Siege fans with the first official images of the Valkyrie Paragon skin for her MPX.
In the video displayed on Rainbow Six Siege's official X account, Valkyrie is seen inspecting her MPX which starts to levitate on her hands before turning into a sword. The animation ends when the gun goes back to its original shape.

The community's opinions about Valkyrie's Paragon skin have been quite divided. While some players believe this is a great addition as it looks cool, fresh, and unique, some other players think these skins don't represent a tactical and realistic shooter like Rainbow Six Siege.
Regardless of the community's opinion, nobody can't deny Ubisoft's impeccable work with this one. So far, a big part of the community has welcomed the concept with open arms, and it seems like the skin will be a huge success in the near future.
Here's everything we know so far about Valkyrie's Paragon skin:
When will Valkyrie's Paragon skin be released?
Valkyrie's Paragon skin will be released on June 17, 2025. The skin will be released to Rainbow Six Siege one week after the launch of Rainbow Six Siege X.
How much will Valkyrie's Paragon skin cost?
Ubisoft have yet to unveil Valkyrie's Paragon skin's price. However, we expect the Paragon skin to be around USD$25. In other words, we expect Valkyrie's Paragon skin to be around 2,900 and 3,370 R6 Credits.
Why could be Valkyrie's Paragon skin so expensive?
As announced by Ubisoft in May 2025, the price of Rainbow Six Siege's R6 Credits will change on June 10, 2025, with the arrival of Rainbow Six Siege X. Starting from then, 2,670 R6 Credits will be worth USD$20.
Some context is important here: the most expensive bundle in the Rainbow Six Siege in-game store nowadays is the Sledge Spartan-117 Elite Bundle, which can be acquired for 2,670 R6 Credits. Considering the Paragon Bundle is expected to belong to a new category of skins, superior to any other in the game, even superior to Legendary skins, it makes sense to think the Paragon Skin will be slightly more expensive than that — automatically making the previous assumption very reasonable.
How can I inspect my weapon in Rainbow Six Siege X?

If you don't feel right using "I" to trigger the weapon inspect animation in Rainbow Six Siege X, you can change it by following the next steps:

How does the Valkyrie Paragon skin look like?
While we only have a video of Valkyrie's Paragon skin, we can define it as a blue, red, and black skin, with some details in gold. When the weapon inspect animation is triggered, the skin starts levitating on Valkyrie's hands, and after some cool sound and visual effects, the weapon turns into a sword. After that, the weapon goes back to its original shape.
