The BLAST R6 Major Osaka will be the first Major since the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta to include a Thai lineup. Back then, FURY was one round away from reaching the Swiss Stage as their initial 3-7 defeat against G2 Esports was followed by a 2-0 win against Knights and a 1-2 defeat against DarkZero Esports, with the last map being a 7-8 loss against the Americans.

In fact, four of FURY's five players that competed in Atlanta form Sharper Esports' current lineup, including Sillapakorn "Lycolis" Dokmaikhaw, Kritsanai "KritJ" Saemsub, Sirasit "BGMan" Ariyasirisopol, and Sumate "Nay..Pew" Srimabut. The only player in the team that will make its international debut in Osaka will be Peerapat "Peeps" Dararung, who joined Sharper Esports from Team Orchid in September 2026.

Sharper Esports' next match will be played today as the Thai roster will play against Weibo Gaming in the BLAST R6 Asia League 2026 Stage 2 Grand Final. The winner of the match will automatically qualify for Osaka's Swiss Stage, whilst the loser will start from the play-in stage.
