FaZe Clan and LOS have reached South America's Challenger League 2026 semifinal after 2-0 victories against Lucky Five and Black Dragons, respectively.
LOS were the first to clinch a semifinal spot after taking down Black Dragons following 7-5 and 7-2 wins on Chalet and Bank. The orange lineup didn't hesitate as they demolished the dragons, who now can focus on the upcoming South American Six Invitational 2027 Last Chance Qualifier.
Shortly after, FaZe Clan took down Lucky Five after back-to-back 7-5 wins on Villa and Nighthaven Labs. The two-time world champions played some standard Siege, probably already thinking in their chances to win the BLAST R6 Major Osaka. Just like the rest of teams who will also be in Japan next month, FaZe Clan don't want to show too much as more maps mean more information in the hands of potential enemy teams.
FaZe Clan and LOS' victories mean both teams will clash on Saturday, October 24, at 9 PM CEST. The Six Invitational 2025 and 2026 champions have won their last seven matches against LOS as their last defeat was at the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta in November 2023. Almost three years later, FaZe Clan are favorites and should claim their eighth consecutive win against the orange lineup.
Before their clash on Saturday, we still have got two more semifinal clashes to watch. Today, LOUD and FURIA will meet in the first game of the night, followed by Fluxo W7M's game against Imperial Esports.
