Season 17 of Overwatch 2 is about to reach its midpoint, with the mid-season update and the respective patch notes dropping soon. The update is set to make some changes and also bring more content to keep players busy until next season.

When does the Overwatch 2 Season 17 mid-season patch come out?

The Overwatch 2 Season 17 mid-season patch is scheduled to come out on Tuesday, July 22nd at 11:00 AM PT (7:00 PM BST) for all platforms.

PC users can already preload the patch on the Battle.net launcher to have it ready for launch.

What can we expect from the patch notes?

The patch notes for the Overwatch 2 Season 17 mid-season update will be posted once the patch goes live. In the meantime, we can speculate about what's coming to the game this time.

The patch is also set to prepare the game for the upcoming Wuyang test weekend. As with previous heroes, the new support character will be available in quick matches for testing before being completely introduced at the start of Season 18.
