Overwatch 2’s latest season is finally here, and players are already grinding hard to reach their target ranks. Alongside the new Battle Pass, cosmetics, and content, the game’s other mode, Stadium, is also getting more love, especially from Mercy players eager to unlock the free All-Star Mercy skin.
With the fresh season of Stadium underway, many new players are still figuring out how the mode works. One of the more common questions? How to save a build so you don’t have to manually recreate your setup every match.
How to save your build in Overwatch 2's Stadium
To save your Stadium build, simply press the “Save Build” button located in the lower-left corner of the screen during the Armory phase. This feature also lets you save alternative loadouts if you’re looking to experiment. You can load and save up to 10 builds per character.

Find the Best Build for You First
Saving a build is easy, but it’s best to experiment a bit first. Don’t rush to save a build you’re not completely happy with. Try different combinations and find what fits your playstyle before locking it in.

Stadium takes some getting used to, but it’s a fun and refreshing break from the high-stakes pressure of Overwatch 2’s competitive 5v5 mode.
Can You Save Builds from Other Players?
Yes, you can save Stadium builds from an enemy team or an ally. During the Preparation Phase, press TAB and browse through your teammates’ or enemies’ builds.

Saving a build from an Ally.
Saving a build from a friend or an enemy is especially useful for learning how the game works. It's your go-to source for counterplays and knowledge. When you find a setup you like, you can save it the same way you would your own: just click the Save Build button in the lower-left corner of the screen.
Once saved, that build is yours to study, tweak, and use, whether you want to play like them or prepare to counter them next time.
