The hype for Sabrina Carpenter is at an all-time high, but leaks got fans excited for what's ahead: Daft Punk is coming to Fortnite, allegedly.

On April 7, as soon as Sabrina Carpenter was confirmed as the next Fortnite Festival ICON, replacing Hatsune Miku in the next season of the rhythm game, some leaks suggested the French duo could be next.

Let's break down all we know about Daft Punk reuniting once more, this time in Fortnite.

Is Daft Punk getting a Fortnite skin?

As it stands, it's unknown whether the rumors of Daft Punk making it into Fortnite are real or not.

Very reputable dataminers and leakers have reported it, however, so while you should take rumors with a grain of salt, there are enough people within the community stating it's going to happen soon.

When is Daft Punk coming to Fortnite?

If it does end up happening, expect Daft Punk to come out until Fortnite Festival season 9 kicks off.

Sadly, that's still a few months away considering Fortnite Festival season 8 will start on April 8. Taking into consideration that each season lasts roughly three months, expect season 9 and the alleged Daft Punk collaboration to start around July.

For instance, season 7 featuring Hatsune Miku started on January 14 and ended on April 8. Using a similar timeframe, a possible Daft Punk x Fortnite collaboration would be hitting roughly in late June at the earliest. More than likely, they'll be debuting in early to mid-July.

If a collaboration does end up happening, expect Daft Punk to have two skins as it's usual for Fortnite Festival ICONS. One available via the Fortnite Item Shop and the other via the Music Pass, Fortnite Festival's exclusive battle pass.

And that's all we know about the possible Daft Punk x Fortnite crossover. As always, we'll keep you updated on any official info dropping in the coming weeks.
