
The new Season 2 of Fragpunk officially starts today, June 26, and brings a fresh wave of content to the fast-paced hero shooter. You can expect thrilling map changes, improvements in lancers, weapons, shard cards, and gameplay adjustments designed to make the experience more exciting.
Whether you are a pro or someone just getting started with the franchise, this new season is designed to deliver even more explosive action.
Here's what's new in this Fragpunk Season 2 update:
Patch notes

Lancers:
1. Spider
- Spirited Away: The pull delay has been reduced from 1 second to 0.8 seconds, and the total duration of the pull effect has been increased from 1 second to 1.6 seconds. This skill can now teleport your team's converter.
- Spider Web: Increased the number of uses from 2 to 3.
2. Pathojen
- Emotional Rescue: Added a 25-second cooldown.
- Shroom Wall: This skill can no longer be stacked with other placeable gadgets. Reduced HP from 500 to 400.
3. Dex
Adjusted the animation for Dex's poses "Morning Exercise" and "Meditation."
- Cloning Incarnation: Reduced Clone HP from 20 to 10. After the clone is killed, the max HP reduced when reverting to Dex's original form has been changed from 20 to 10.
- Mimic Trap: Reduced HP from 30 to 15. Adjusted to only be triggered by direct contact or from firearm attacks.
- Shield Scales: Reduced the damage that the shield blocks from 50 points to 30 points.
4. Nitro
- The Wall: Optimized the placement area for the wall.
- Mr. Pew-Pew: This skill will no longer trigger the effect of the Shard Card "Powerful Strike."
5. Axon
- Sticky Fingers: Decreased the default number of uses from 12 to 8. Increased the ability recharge time from 15 seconds to 20 seconds.
Weapons
1. Resolver
- Adjusted damage attenuation distance from 17 meters to 23 meters.
- ADS movement speed has been adjusted from 1.08 m/s to 1.54 m/s.
2. Bad Moon-S
- Increased the fire rate from 375/min to 500/min.
3. Bad Reputation
- Increased the fire rate from 250/min to 300/min.
4. Meat Maker
- Torso damage from each pellet has been increased to 17 (0-10 meters), 14 (10-25 meters), and 12 (25-60 meters).
5. Boom Broom
- Increased the mag size from 8/24 to 11/33.
6. Vicious
- Adjusted damage attenuation distance from 8 meters to 12 meters.
7. Secondary Weapons
- Reduced the number of secondary weapon uses from 8 to 6.
8. Custom Crosshair
- Custom crosshairs can now be toggled on for weapons such as shotguns, sniper rifles, and marksman weapons.
Maps:
1. Dongtian
- Adjusted the position of the cover within Site A.
- Adjusted the height of the cover at B Short.
- Adjusted some invisible walls and fixed issues with the map boundaries.
2. Naos
- Adjusted the placement area for certain gadgets at Attacker Spawn.
3. Akhet
- Adjusted some invisible walls and fixed issues with the map boundaries.
4. Outpost
- Adjusted the placement area for certain gadgets at Defender Spawn.
5. Kepler Station: "Aesir"
- Adjusted the position of the invisible walls at both spawn sites in Team Deathmatch: Standard.
Shard Cards
1. Shard Clash
- Removed Shard Cards: Bulletproof Design and Converter Camouflage are removed Shard Cards from Ranked Shard Clash.
- Demon Eyes: No longer deals damage to enemies through smoke.
- Slow Bullets: Both sides' [bullet] speed is significantly reduced.
- Archer: All players become archers.
- Healthy Stretching: Increased HP regained from 1 to 3 each time you jump.
- Site Deletion: Increased the Shard Point cost from 5 to 6.
- Mass Cheetah: Increased the Shard Point cost from 4 to 5.
- Explosive Shot: Increased the Shard Point cost from 4 to 5. Adjusted the explosion damage radius to better align with its visual effects.
- Bulletproof Design: Increased the Shard Point cost from 5 to 6.

2. Team Deathmatch, Free For All, and Kill Confirmed:
- Portable Jump Pad: Increased horizontal movement distance.
- Breaching Hammer: Reduced falling speed when used mid-air, and increased the charged attack lethal range to 4 meters.
- Kerplunk: Adjusted the maximum explosion damage to 85.
- Bigger Bombs: Reduced the Shard Point cost from 4 to 3.
- Vampire Bullet: Reduced the Shard Point cost from 5 to 4.
- Long Dash: Increased the charged melee dash bonus from 50% to 100%.
- Rapid Fire: Increased the fire rate bonus from 15% to 20%, and reduced the Shard Point cost from 6 to 4.
- Glass Cannon: Reduced the Shard Point cost from 6 to 5.
- Explosive Shot: Increased the Shard Point cost from 5 to 6.
- Dragon's Breath: Increased the Shard Point cost from 5 to 6.
- Lucky Bullets: Increased the random spread range of additional bullets. Reduced the Shard Point cost from 10 to 8.
- No Survivors: Reduced the Shard Point cost from 28 to 27.
- Precision Hipfire: Hipfire spread increased from 25% to 40%.
- SuperFly: Changed from a tactical card to a passive card.
- Birdman: Changed from a tactical card to a passive card.
3. Outbreak
- Blade Master: In Outbreak mode, this card's blocking effect has been adjusted from damage immunity to damage reduction.
- Mass Cheetah: Added a max health reduction of 300. The hand limit for this card has been reduced from 10 to 5. The Shard Point cost has been increased from 5 to 7, and the rarity has been adjusted from white to blue.
- Headshot Master: Increased the damage bonus from 50% to 80%.
- Headshot Bullets: Fixed an issue where damage could occasionally increase abnormally.
- Health Club: Increased the max health bonus from +1000 to +2000. The hand limit for this card has been reduced from 5 to 3. The Shard Point cost has increased from 8 to 18, and the rarity has been adjusted from blue to purple.
- Over-Regen: Reduced the max health bonus from +500 to +200. The upper limit has been reduced from 3000 to 1000. The hand limit for this card has been increased from 2 to 4. The Shard Point cost has been reduced from 15 to 8, and the rarity has been adjusted from purple to white.
- Rusty Bullets: Reduced the additional damage per hit from 2% of the target's max health to 1%.
- Lucky Bullets: Reduced the hand limit for this card from 2 to 1.
- Extended Reach: Increased the Shard Point cost from 7 to 8.
- Ground-Hugging: Adjusted the rarity from purple to blue.
- Explosion Specialist: Increased the Shard Point cost from 7 to 8.
- In Perfect Health: Adjusted the rarity from purple to blue.
- Emergency Evacuation: No longer exclusive to the Parasites. Card can now be selected by both Survivors and Parasites.
- Weighted Bullets: Increased the slow enhancement effect from 20% to 25%.
4. Deck Deathmatch and Capture The Core
- Parting Explosion: Increased the Shard Point cost from 1 to 2.
- Health Club: Reduced the Shard Point cost from 5 to 4.
- Explosive Shot: Increased the Shard Point cost from 3 to 5.
- Dragon's Breath: Increased the Shard Point cost from 3 to 4.
- SuperFly: Reduced the Shard Point cost from 4 to 2.
- Swift Support: Reduced the Shard Point cost from 5 to 3.
- Headshot Master: Reduced the Shard Point cost from 5 to 4.

Mode:
1. Shard Clash
- In Shard Clash, a new mechanic for changing relics has been added. During the match's rule-making phase, you can spend 1 Shard Point to swap an active relic.
- The relic feature will be enabled in regular ranked Shard Clash.
- During the rule-making phase, unactivated Shard Cards can still be refreshed even if Shard Points have been injected. The injected points will be returned to the corresponding players.
- Optimized the visibility of the Shard Point hand-over prompt bubbles.
- Added a response shortcut for the Shard Point hand-over function on console platforms.
- Added a limit on the number of times a single player can initiate the Shard Point hand-over request.
- After rejecting a Shard Point hand-over request, all subsequent requests in the match will be declined by default until manually accepted.
- Removed the Shard Clash: Standard Advanced mode.
- Expanded the ping feature. Now, attackers can hold the middle mouse button on the target site icon to bring up the tactical ping wheel.
- Optimized the user experience of the quick message wheel.
2. Outbreak
- Increased the initial Shard Points in the first round from 10 to 15.
- Reduced the base health of transformed Parasites from 3000 to 2500.
- While actively increasing your infection probability, the probability boost for being selected as the initial Parasite has been reduced.
- Added a tutorial to the Shard Card purchase page for first-time players in Outbreak mode.
- Added a deck preset hint feature (customization is temporarily unavailable).
- Added a display for the hand limit of each Shard Card.
- Added a melee weapon Shard Card category. Only one melee weapon Shard Card can be equipped at a time.
- Added a special skill Shard Card category. Only one special skill Shard Card can be equipped at a time.
3. Chaos Clash
- In duels, the overtime penalty damage has been adjusted to double every 10 seconds.
4. Deck Deathmatch
- Removed the limit for activated Shard Cards.
- Added a Shard Point limit on activated Shard Cards. A maximum of 15 Shard Points can be active at a time.
Non-match:
1. Rank System
- Daily ranked challenges will now refresh weekly.
- To discourage negative gameplay, added a limit to the rank demotion protection feature.
- The ranked store now has a seasonal sticker bundle.
- The ranked protection points and demotion protection features have been updated to include rank restrictions (not applicable for Master rank and above).
After the start of Season Two, the Seasonal and Chapter rewards for Shard Clash: Ranked will be updated. The initial rank adjustments for the season are as follows:

2. Leaderboard
- Removed the Duel Master Leaderboard.
- Fixed an issue where rank demotion caused abnormal point deductions on the Lancer leaderboard.
- The leaderboard scores are resetting. Get high scores to earn your place on the leaderboard again.
3. Mode Filter
- Optimized the overall interface.
- Removed Rotation Mode. You can now queue for multiple modes simultaneously.
4. Arsenal
- Added a custom weapon combination sharing feature.
5. Highlights
- Reduced the black screen duration between consecutive kills.
- Optimized the video export quality.
- Note: After this update, due to changes in gameplay and level modifications, recorded videos and highlights in your personal history from before the update will become invalid and unable to be viewed. Please take appropriate measures in advance, if necessary.
6. Custom Match
- Added a new Recruit Players feature.
- You can enter the Training Base before the match starts.
7. Battle Pass
- Added base match XP, where players will receive a certain amount of Battle Pass XP based on the duration of each match.
- Adjusted the category of modes related to challenges. In challenges, modes are now divided into Shard Clash, Arcade, and Outbreak.
- The new chapter Battle Pass: Pearlescent Assassin will be available after the update.
8. Store
- Updated the permanent prize pool, adding the ultimate melee weapon skin: Nature's Touch.
- After the update, the ultimate melee weapon skin Constellation will no longer be available from the permanent prize pool, but it can still be unlocked with ultimate materials.
- The new premium weapon skin bundle "Shard Sec" will be available in the store starting on June 26. Five futuristic weapons will accompany you to defend the peace of Acme.
9. Stickers
- The S1 Seasonal Sticker Pack (Wild Dawn) will be removed after the update, and the S2 Seasonal Sticker Bundle will be introduced instead.
- The S1 Seasonal Charm Pack (Wild Dawn) will be removed after the update, and the S2 Seasonal Sticker Charms will be introduced instead.
- The contents of the Basic Sticker Pack have been updated: new stickers have been added.
- Sticker Fusion has been updated to include a batch fusion feature.
Console:
1. Controller Aim Assist
- Slightly enhanced the aim assist feature for console platforms when matching against PC users in crossplay.
- Slightly enhanced the aim assist feature for PC users using controllers.
2. Crossplay
- Added an Xbox User-only crossplay feature.
3. Username Lookup on the In-Game Scoreboard for Sony Platforms
After the console launch, we observed that player names in matches on PlayStation were showing their PlayStation Online IDs, which hindered teammates' abilities to recognize and communicate with each other. With this update, the in-game scoreboard now features a one-click toggle to switch between displaying in-game names or PlayStation Online IDs.
