Bad Guitar Studio, developers of the first-person FPS hero shooter game Fragpunk, are very soon releasing a new season for the game. This new season promises to amp up the madness.
Season 2 will be extremely exciting for Fragpunk enthusiasts as there will be new faces in dynamic battlegrounds and fresh content drops. Continue as we explain everything we know about this new season of Fragpunk.
When does FragPunk Season 2 start?
Fragpunk Season 2 will officially start on June 26, immediately after the global invitational LAN event ends.
The season will bring several updates, weekly perks, and special event content until it's running.
New Lancer: Hurricane

In Season 2 of Fragpunk, Hurricane, a storm-chasing anthropomorphic Lancer will be taking the charge.
It carries a high utility kit that can disrupt eyesight and crowd control, so don't underestimate its adorable design. Here are some of its moves:
- Cyclone Storm: A swirling smoke ability that can distort enemy vision.
- Wall-Bounce Flash: A flashbang that can bounce off surfaces.
- Heroic Onslaught: It's another powerful move that is yet to be disclosed. However, it's expected that this ultimate move will likely use high-impact zone control.
Hurricane is following Fragpunk's history of unique and expressive characters while further adding variety to its Lancers.
New map: Zomna
Fragpunk's Season 2 will also be introducing a new competitive map named Zomna, i.e., a floating port city with a futuristic look.
Zomna will have a multidirectional zip line system, allowing players to fly across the clouds and perform attacks from the sky. Verticality, portals, and new traversal capabilities are also expected, as they'll make Zomna a favorite choice of people who like high-skill movement plays.

Additionally, a new Outbreak map set in Jungle Prison will also be available for zombie-style mode to expand PvE options.
New content & Battle Pass
You can also expect a themed Phantom Fleet Bundle with stylish weapon skins and cosmetics. A seasonal battle pass will be offering weekly unlocks, awards, and event-specific items as usual.
Lastly, with these offerings, Fragpunk's Season 2, Rising Tempest, will definitely be a bold and creative season.
