FaZe Clan qualify for Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2026

Following their 0-2 defeat against Team Liquid Alienware on Friday, FaZe Clan bounced back with a 2-0 victory against LOUD to qualify for the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2026.

The back-to-back world champions had a difficult start to the series as the first map, Border, went to maximum overtime. However, the red and black lineup secured the win. Finally, Lair was slightly more one-sided, with FaZe Clan taking a 7-4 win.

With a SiegeGG rating of 1.40, Thiago "Handyy" Ferreira was the best player of the match. He was crucial in FaZe Clan's win with a KOST of 76, one plant, and two clutches to his name, one on each map.

Despite FaZe Clan's results on the biggest Rainbow Six Siege international events, the team has always struggled at the Esports World Cup. In 2024, the Brazilians were eliminated in the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, last year, the team couldn't survive the group stage.

FaZe Clan's next opponent will be LOS as the winner will be able to skip the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2026 play-ins and start from the tournament's Phase 2. Additionally, they will be among the region's best three teams of Stage 1.
