It finally happened: Star Wars is coming to Destiny 2. A match made in heaven that took years to come to fruition will see all classes receive armor sets as well as universal cosmetics inspired by the iconic Sci-Fi/Fantasy IP.
In recent years, Bungie has leaned heavily on collaborations to help cross-promote Destiny 2, with The Witcher, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, and Street Fighter making it into the game. Even film franchises like Ghostbusters are part of the looter shooter.
Star Wars is perhaps the biggest and most exciting collaboration Destiny 2 has received. Let's break down everything you need to know so you don't miss out on anything.
Destiny 2 x Star Wars release date
The Star Wars x Destiny 2 collaboration will be available starting on February 4. It will launch alongside Episode: Heresy.
Usually, collaborations tend to remain in the Destiny 2 in-game shop for several weeks so you'll have plenty of time to decide what to spend your Silver on.
Sadly, unlike previous crossovers such as the Mass Effect one, there is no information about free cosmetics this time around.
Destiny 2 x Star Wars armor
Every class will get a unique armor set, inspired by the world of Star Wars. Let's check them out.
Star Wars Hunter armor
The Hunter Cover Ranger is based on the Elite Death troopers, also known as the AWR troopers.

Star Wars Titan Armor
Perhaps the most recognizable of the three, the Titans will get to live their dreams of becoming a Stormtrooper with the Shock Enforcer armor set.

Star Wars Warlock Armor
For Warlocks, they'll rock the Royal Protector armor, inspired by the Emperial Royal Guard.

Destiny 2 x Star Wars cosmetics
On top of the armor sets, Bungie confirmed universal cosmetics will come as part of the collection, revealing one in the process: the DS-2 Ghost Shell.
Take your very own Death Star with you
Expect things like Sparrows, emotes, and ships to be revealed as well.
Destiny 2 x Star Wars cost
The price for the armor sets or other cosmetics is yet to be revealed. Previous collaborations had players fork out 2,000 Silver for each armor set, and we don't expect that to change here.
While the cost might seem steep, do note that Bungie rarely removes crossover sets from the Eververse store, so you won't have to scramble for Silver fast to try and get them before they're gone.
