Want to get your hands on the Lotus-Eater sidearm in Destiny 2? In this guide, we'll break down the god roll you should be looking for.

Episode Heresy in Destiny 2 now has Grandmaster Nightfalls available, making grinding the activity much more enticing, since hardcore players can get their hands on the Adept versions of each weapon.

How to get Lotus-Eater in Destiny 2

The only way to obtain the Lotus-Eater sidearm in Destiny 2 is by completing the weekly Nightfall.

Lotus-Eater is a fun rocket sidearm

Think of Nightfall has harder versions of classic the Vanguard Ops content playlist. They feature modifiers that make the content harder, including Champions. Be sure to create a proper build using the Episode Heresy artifact mods unlocked to try this content.

After unlocking Lotus-Eater for the first time, you can focus your Vanguard Engrams to obtain more versions from Zavala at the Tower. It can be costly if you're not rich on resources, but it is a solid way to increase your chances of getting the Lotus-Eater god roll if you're specifically hunting for one. The cost to focus decode one reward drop is as follows:

  • Five Vanguard engrams
  • 25k Glimmer

If it's the featured weekly weapon, you'll be able to decode it for the following:

  • One Vanguard engram
  • One Nightfall Cipher (Adept)

The Adept version of Lotus-Eater is also up for grabs (and will be anytime the hand cannon is obtainable via GM Nightfalls). The price for decoding it is the following:

  • One Vanguard engram
  • 50k Glimmer
  • 10 Nightfall Cipher's (Adept)

The Power Level required for each difficulty of Nightfalls during Episode Heresy is as follows:

  • Advanced: 2015PL (Uncommon drop)
  • Expert: 2025 (Common drop)
  • Master: 2030PL (Common drop)

Grandmaster Nightfalls are available for players who reach 2040 PL. If you complete the Grandmaster Nightfall, you'll gain access to an Adept version of the Lotus-Eater.

Lotus-Eater is a Rocket-Assisted Frame sidearm, making it already a weapon the community will be eager to try. It also comes with some incredibly useful Void perks that will make it extremely fun in PvE.

  • Column 1: Quick Launch
  • Column 2: Tactical Mag
  • Column 3: Reconstruction, Repulsor Brace
  • Column 4: Destabilizing Rounds

Lotus-Eater PvP god roll

  • Column 1: Quick Launch
  • Column 2: High-Velocity Rounds
  • Column 3: Reconstruction, Beacon Rounds
  • Column 4: Adrenaline Junkie
