Bungie's Marathon has already got the whole FPS community excited after the release of the title's official gameplay trailer. With plenty of explosions, a futuristic look, and thrilling type of characters, known as Runners, Marathon has stolen the show.
At the start of the Marathon Showcase, Bungie revealed that Marathon will be released on September 23, 2025. In other words, the game will be released in roughly five months. Seems like it will be a long wait, right? Well, we've got some good news for you.
While Bungie's Marathon will be fully released on September 23, 2025, Marathon's Closed Alpha Test will go live on April 23, 2025 and it will be open until May 4, 2025.
Plain and simple, people who want to try Marathon will be able to do so in less than a fortnight. However, there's a twist.
Unfortunately, Marathon's Closed Alpha Test will be exclusive to North America. This was confirmed by Marathon's Showcase host shortly after the conclusion of the first gameplay trailer was revealed.
This means that players from Europe, South America, Asia, Oceania, and other parts of the world won't be able to participate in Marathon's first Closed Alpha Test. Luckily, we expect these regions to have a shot at trying Marathon in the near future.
