BLAST R6 South America League 2026 Stage 2 - Team of the Week 1

The BLAST R6 South America League 2026 Stage 2 is the region's top flight. Dominated by Brazilian teams and players, the region includes some of the best teams in Rainbow Six Siege's esports ecosystem, including the back-to-back Six Invitational champions FaZe Clan, the Six Invitational 2024 champions, currently playing for Team Liquid Alienware, or the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2026 grand finalists, FURIA.

The first week of the split was played between September 5 and September 6. At the time of writing, four teams remain unbeaten, including FaZe Clan and FURIA, with six points each, as well as Team Liquid Alienware and Black Dragons, with five points each. They are closely followed by LOUD and LOS, who have won one match each, as well as INTZ, Lucky Five, Imperial Esports, and Fluxo W7M, who are yet to claim their first victory of the split.

Entry - Mateus "Romeo" Romeo (Black Dragons)

Romeo stole the show in the first week of action in the BLAST R6 South America League 2026 Stage 2 by leading Black Dragons to wins against LOS and Lucky Five, two of their main contenders to qualify for the BLAST R6 Major Osaka.

Romeo averaged a SiegeGG rating of 1.55 across both matches, making him the best player of the week. He also currently owns the best K-D and the best entry balance, 27-11 (+16) and 7-1 (+6), respectively. He also averaged a KOST of 90, a KPR of 1.23, and a survival of 50.

Entry - Jaime "Cyber" Ramos (FaZe Clan)

The Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2026 MVP currently is the second-best entry only behind Romeo, with an entry balance of 6-1 (+5). The Brazilian also contributed with two plants for FaZe Clan.

Surprisingly enough, Cyber finished the week with only 15 kills. Therefore, 40% of his kills have been entry kills. However, Cyber has a survival of 52, the fourth-highest in the competition. He also averaged a KOST of 80.

Flex - João "Jv92" Vitor (Team Liquid Alienware)

Historically, in both South America's top flight and at international competitions, Jv92 is known for being a highly-consistent player. However, the last few months have been a bit different for the Brazilian player, who has been struggling to perform at his best. Fortunately for him, he's off to a good start in Stage 2.

The Six Invitational 2024 champion averaged a SiegeGG rating of 1.40 in his first two games against INTZ and Imperial Esports, averaging SiegeGG ratings of 1.29 and 1.56, respectively. He currently owns the third-best rating in the league. Furthermore, Jv92 secured the third-best K-D and a KPR of 1.21, as well as a KOST of 83.

Flex - Lucas "soulz1" Schinke (FaZe Clan)

Soulz1 was the fourth-highest rated player of the week in the BLAST R6 South America League 2026 Stage 2 with a SiegeGG rating of 1.38. He averaged the highest SRV of the weekend (61) as well as a KPR of 0.90 and a KOST of 80. He also contributed to FaZe Clan's wins with a clutch and a plant, both of them coming against Imperial Esports.

IGL - Victor "VITAKING" Augusto (FaZe Clan)

VITAKING is the best and most complete IGL in Rainbow Six Siege's esports ecosystem right now; there's no doubt about that. Therefore, seeing him perform the way he did in the first week of Stage 2 action isn't a surprise at this point.

FaZe Clan kicked off the stage with a win on Villa against Imperial Esports before a 7-4 win against Fluxo W7M. Overall, VITAKING averaged SiegeGG ratings of 1.59 and 1.45, currently making him the second-highest rated player in the stage with a SiegeGG rating of 1.52.

The Six Invitational 2025 and 2026 champion finished the two games with an entry balance of 5-0 (+5) and a K-D of 24-11 (+13), only surpassed in both statistics by Romeo. He also averaged a KOST of 80, a KPR of 1.14, and a survival of 47.
