A 1v1 in Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a lightsaber duel between two players either in a Hero Showdown mode or by agreement within a larger match. Whether you're looking to face off against a friend or test your skills against AI, playing a 1v1 will help you do so.
It's extremely easy to configure an offline match with a bot enemy or set up a lightsaber duel with your friend. Continue with this post to learn how to 1v1 in Battlefront 2.
How to 1v1 offline in Battlefront 2?
- Navigate to the Play tab, select Single Player, and choose Instant Action.
- Next, set the Game Mode to Supremacy, choose your preferred map, select the AI difficulty level, and set the Round Length to Long.
- Under Advanced Settings, set the following game modifiers to:
- Battle Points: Set to Fast
- Enemy AI Count: Set to 1
- Friendly AI Count: Set to 0
- Enemy Hero Count: Set to 4
- And, set everything below Enemy Hero Count to 0.
- Start the game, and when it loads, capture two command posts yourself, as it'll allow you to earn battle points to purchase a hero.
- Once you've captured two command posts, allow the bot to capture two posts, as this will ensure unlimited match duration.
- Now that the bot has captured its posts, start dueling and eliminate it. Depending on your side, heroes or villains will continuously spawn, allowing you to duel endlessly.
How to 1v1 with friends in Battlefront 2?
- Open Options in the main menu and navigate to the EA Account tab.
- Here, select a region with low player activity to increase the chances of getting into the same lobby as your friend.
- Now go to Play > Multiplayer > Heroes and Villains > Hero Showdown.
- Make sure you and your friend aren't in the same party, and use a countdown and press "search" at the exact same time to sync with your friend.
- Check the map name, and if it is the same for both players, you may be in the same game.
- If not, click Cancel and try again. Sometimes, you may get into different games with the same map or get put on the same team, defeating the purpose of 1v1.
- This method may need a bit of luck, but currently it's the one for setting up a 1v1 in Battlefront 2.
