Battlefield 6 is expected to be one of the most ambitious releases from the series, as EA is promising a more refined and optimized PC experience.
Due to recent playtests and leaks from Battlefield Labs, we now have a decent idea of what kind of hardware you'll need to jump into the action.
What are the system requirements for Battlefield 6?
If you want to upgrade or build a rig before the complete release, here's everything you need to know.

Criteria | Expected Requirements |
---|---|
OS | Windows 10 64-bit |
Processor | Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600 |
Memory | 16 GB RAM |
Graphics | Nvidia RTX 2060 / AMD RX 5600 XT |
Storage | 30 GB SSD minimum |
DirectX | Version 12 |
Note that all these specs are based on the playtest by Battlefield Labs and can change before launch. The recommended settings are aimed at 1080p at 60 fps, and for high refresh rate monitors, i.e., 144Hz+, you may need more powerful hardware.
When is Battlefield 6 coming out?
Even though a release date hasn't been officially announced, a report from a reliable leaker states that the game is scheduled to come out on Friday, October 10th, 2025.
The game will reportedly have two editions, the standard one and the Phantom edition. The latter will be an all-digital edition offering a copy of the title and some extra in-game items.
Once we have more confirmed information about the system requirements, probably before the open beta period, we will update this article so you can make sure your PC will be able to run the game.
