Just a day before the first Battlefield 6 trailer comes out, a new report has leaked what appears to be the game's release date, alongside other launch details like special editions and their prices.

The report comes from insider billbil-kun, who posted the leaks on the Dealabs website. The leaker states that the new title is scheduled to release on Friday, October 10th, 2025.

Unlike what other franchises have done in recent years, the game won't have an early access period. All players will gain access to the game on the same date, regardless of the edition they acquire.

Speaking of, the report also confirms previous rumors that the game will be available in two editions: a standard edition that only includes the game and a special one called Phantom edition. This last one will be a fully digital edition that will include extra in-game content.

Players with the standard edition will have the option to purchase the Phantom pack to unlock the extra benefits of this digital edition. The report also shared the following price table:

Edition
PC
PlayStation 5
Xbox Series X|S
Standard edition
€69.99
€79.99
€79.99
Phantom edition
€99.99
€109.99
€109.99
Phantom pack
€29.99
€29.99
€29.99

The leaker states that they can't confirm a Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game, meaning the chances of the title releasing on the new hardware are very low.

Lastly, the report states that pre-orders will go live on Thursday, July 31st. Previous reports suggested that EA will run a three-day reveal event, starting on July 29th, meaning that pre-orders could be available as soon as said event ends. A beta has also been rumored, with some pointing out that it could start at the beginning of August.

With the reveal trailer going live on July 24th, all these details should be officially announced very soon. We recommend you visit this article, as we will gather all the important information on the way to the release.
