Now that fans are getting the Apex Legends: Winter’s Haunt event, they’re curious about the rewards that come with it. One prize that has fans talking is the Winter’s Bane heirloom for Bloodhound. Heirlooms have always been worth getting in the game, so it’s natural to see fans excited about this.

For those unaware, heirlooms are items that change your weapon skins and occasionally come with unique taunts. They might not be the cosmetics in the game, especially since there are a ton of cool skins available, but they’re worth seeking out. Gamers who want to grind and get all of the unlockables will want these items.

How to get the Winter’s Bane heirloom

The Apex Legends: Winter’s Haunt page says players have to collect all 30 cosmetics from the event to unlock the Winter’s Bane Heirloom for Bloodhound. Players can do this by purchasing Winter’s Haunt Apex Packs, which offer random items.

After the event is over, players will be able to purchase the Heirloom with shards. It's an Apex Legends tradition that allows players to get this skin if they aren't able to complete the event. That can be a pain to some, but other players will have a good time playing Winter's Haunt.

Is the Winter’s Bane Heirloom worth it?

Because items in these shooters can be rare, most fans will want to get the Winter’s Bane Heirloom in Apex Legends. However, those who don’t use Bloodhound might not want to put all this effort into getting it. Using multiple characters in games is always fun, but we’re sure some fans won’t jive with Bloodhound.

Luckily, the Winter’s Haunt event will have plenty of cosmetics to earn through playing the game. Granted, impatient players can just buy these but it can feel rewarding to get them through gameplay.
