It's about to get chilly in Apex Legends...

Lifeline parachutes into the battlefield in Apex Legends

Now that Season 23 is underway, everyone’s curious about the upcoming Apex Legends Winter Event. Since Season 23 is focusing on the Launch Royale nostalgia from the shooter’s early years, more forward-thinking fans want to know what’s next. Thanks to leaks, fans have an idea of what will be coming for this holiday-themed extravaganza.

Previous Winter Events have given fans plenty of fun cosmetics and it looks like this upcoming event will offer more of the same. As usual, fans should prepare to grind for their favorite Legends in the game to get those skins and weapons. Since we’re officially in November, here’s what we know about the upcoming Winter Event.

Apex Legends Winter Event 2024 Release Date

The current Apex Legends Launch Royale event is going to end on November 19, so there’s a very good chance this Winter Event launches this December. Leaker ThordanSmash has deduced that this event will be available just in time for the holidays. EA and Respawn have yet to comment on the upcoming event, as Launch Royale is still ongoing as a limited-time event, but details will eventually be released.

Fans can expect to see details on the event in a few weeks, especially with the holidays coming soon. Players might also have to spend and grind more for this event’s rewards since the game didn’t meet financial expectations during Season 22, so that’s disappointing. Still, players who are used to the grind won’t think much of this.

New Skins

Like most live-service shooters, leaks for the Apex Legends Winter Event have already run rampant online. This means we can take a look at some of the skins coming in the next event, which should make players happy.

Twitter user YOROTSUKI has shown off new Winter-themed skins for Wattson and Bloodhound. Wattson has plenty of color-themed suits that look great on this character and her fans will be happy. Bloodhound also has a very cool-looking demon-themed Winter garb, making this Legend look even more terrifying.

Old Skins?

Unsurprisingly, the Apex Legends Winter Event will supposedly bring back previous skins for the holiday flair. This means that players who weren’t able to get these skins before have another chance at doing so, which is always appreciated. It’s not yet known which characters will be getting their old holiday-themed skins, but details will eventually be revealed.
