Attackers

The effect is largest on maps where the defence leans on long rotations, since there's simply less room to be caught moving when the drone sweeps. What hasn't changed is that he needs teammates willing to push the instant a mark appears.

Defender

Like the attacker list, these top three defenders are essential. They’re versatile, work well on any map, and are relatively easy to learn.

Mute

Signal Jammers stop attacker drones getting a look at site during prep, and they keep breaching charges from going off by remote. Mute can now also interrupt Dokkaebi's Jegeo Payload upload, which lifts him well above where he sat last season. He's a low-risk pick that shores up your defence against several attacking plans at the same time.

Smoke

Smoke deserves S-Tier because of his remote-detonation canister with a 20-meter radius. It’s fundamentally the answer to every plant scenario that a defense might have to tackle in the game. 

In addition, when Smoke is paired with a reliable teammate to trade space, he can be a late-round anchor that plants can’t fully execute through. He does require communication, but his ceiling is arguably the highest among defenders. 

Azami
