Marvel Rivals officially launched at the end of December 2024, giving players from different platforms the opportunity to enjoy a hero shooter with their favorite characters from the comics powerhouse.

Is Marvel Rivals on PS4?
At the time of writing, Marvel Rivals is currently not available for the PS4. The game originally launched for the current-gen consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S) and PC through Steam, and it hasn't expanded to other platforms.
However, data miner PlayStationSize on X revealed that a PS4 version of Marvel Rivals has been added to the PlayStation database.
If this actually means that the game is headed to last-gen consoles, the data miner believes this could arrive with Season 4, which is scheduled to start on Friday, September 12th at around 2:00 AM PT (10:00 AM BST).
We will update this whenever we get an official confirmation that the game will arrive on PlayStation 4.
Does Marvel Rivals have crossplay?
Luckily for everyone, Marvel Rivals features crossplay across all its versions. This means that players from PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC can play with each other without restrictions.
If the game were to be announced for last-gen consoles, we expect to also feature crossplay, allowing all players to match together in the ecosystem.
However, crossplay has some restrictions when it comes to Competitive modes. In these modes, console players can only play between them, while PC players have their own matchmaking separated from the rest.
