Geekay Esports' Top 8 finish at the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta will be remembered as one of the best Cinderella runs in Rainbow Six Siege's esports scene. In their international debut, the team reached the final stage of the competition despite playing with Jake "Leadr" Fortunato as a substitute.
Unfortunately for the MENA region, Geekay Esports couldn't cause another upset at the Six Invitational 2024 as the Saudi Arabian-majority roster was sent home after an underwhelming group stage. Now, Geekay Esports have announced the signings of Alexandre "BlaZ" Thomas and Khalid "OF4LCoN" Alsammahi.
The Frenchman heads to the MENA League after two brief stays in Mkers and REVEN ECLUB. He's mainly known for his professional seasons under Heroic and Parabellum Esports.
Meanwhile, OF4LCoN has been added to the roster as the team's surprise signing. The Saudi Arabian has yet to make his debut in the MENA League. He's well known in the region's Tier 2 and his best result came at the GWB 2021 when he beat Team Empire and Virtus.pro while playing for Osh-Tekk Warriors.
