Just like promised, the first full trailer for Black Ops 7 was revealed during Gamescom 2025's Opening Night Live presentation. As expected, the trailer focuses on the campaign, revealing the story will have some trippy elements along the way.
As described by the synopsis on the Call of Duty blog, David Mason and his team are tasked to infiltrate the city of Avalon, where they discover a weapon "engineered to turn fear into an instrument of war."
This weapon appears to be a hallucinogenic gas, and it will open the door to many trippy levels in the campaign, as seen in the trailer.
As previously leaked, this campaign can be played solo or in co-op mode with up to four players. The co-op campaign's difficulty will get adjusted depending on how many players are in the squad.

In case you haven't seen it or if you want to give it another look, here is the official reveal trailer for Black Ops 7:
The campaign will feature 11 linear missions, and after that, the Endgame part is unlocked. This is the rumored PvE extraction-like mode that will take place in Avalon, a large-scale map originally designed for Warzone, where players will have to complete certain objectives.
The mode will feature up to 32 players, and if a player dies, they will have to restart from the beginning and will lose all progress and gear collected. You can visit this article for more information about the game, as we will gather the important details there on the way to launch.
