Although Black Ops 7 is still not out, the first Twitch Drops campaign for the game has been announced. For those who haven't secured an early access code for the beta, this will be your best chance.
Twitch Drops are gifts that the streaming platform gives to viewers simply by watching. These gifts go from in-game cosmetics to codes or special access to tests and beta periods. Keep reading to find out everything about the latest campaign for the Call of Duty title.
How to get Black Ops 7 Twitch Drops?
Before trying to get any drops, you will need to set up some things. Here is the full list of the things you'll need:
- Create an Activision account if you don't have one.
- Link the account of the platform you play (Battle.net, Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox) with your Activision account.
- Depending on which platform you plan to watch the stream, link your Twitch or YouTube account with your Activision account.
For any new players, you can create an Activision account from this link. Once you have your account set up, you need to go into your profile settings and link the account of your platform of choice. You can use this link to access your profile.
All the different platforms will be listed there, along with a button that says "Link Account". After that, all that's left to do is to link your Activision account to your Twitch or YouTube account, depending on the site you'll use to get drops.
Active drops
The first Black Ops 7 drops campaign will take place during the COD Next 2025 event on September 30th, meaning you can only earn the cosmetics of this drop while the event is being livestreamed by the different content creators in assistance.
Here are the rewards, along with the watch time required for each one:
- 15 minutes: COD NEXT emblem
- 30 minutes: COD NEXT calling card
- 45 minutes: BO7 weapon charm
- 1 hour: Early access code for the Black Ops 7
This first set of rewards will expire as soon as the event finishes, meaning you won't have much time to earn them. The next set of drops is expected to go live as soon as the Black Ops 7 beta is online, meaning more rewards will be available soon.
