Core Game Modes at Launch (All-Out Warfare Trifecta)

Battlefield 6 also has the three fan-favorite mods that define the franchise's large-scale warfare. These are:

  • Conquest: This ultimate sandbox mode allows you to capture and control multiple points across massive maps. Players can expect jets and countless flanking routes.
  • Breakthrough: In this mode attackers will break through defensive lines, sector by sector. It's a nasty, goal-oriented tug-of-war.
  • Rush: This mode will offer classic two-team action where one side will plant and defend MCOMs while the other will diffuse them. It's extremely tight, thrilling, and dangerously fast.

Additional Game Modes

If you like smaller-scale or more focused action, these modes will surely dial up the intensity:

  • Team Deathmatch: This mode consists of straight-up gunplay. There aren't any objectives, and all you need to do is simply eliminate the enemy.
  • Squad Deathmatch: This mode has the same rules as Steam Deathmatch, but with smaller squads, and tactical coordination is essential.
  • Domination: This mode offers objective-based infantry combat on smaller maps. It's extremely fast-paced and frantic.
  • King of the Hill: In this mode players are required to control a single zone under constant pressure. Having the correct momentum will help win here.
  • Escalation (New): This is the newly added narrative-style mode where each phase leads to a climactic, all-or-nothing final battle.

Portal Mode Returns

The Battlefield Portal is back again, and this time it's more powerful. This allows players to create and play custom modes with improved tools and modify progression. Whether it's hard for one-shot rules or wild sci-fi chaos, Portal will allow players to have the most fun they can.

And with nine launch maps, which include global locations like Gibraltar, Egypt, Tajikistan, and Brooklyn, players will definitely feel unique depending on where they fight. Lastly, with post-lawn seasonal material on the horizon, this is just the beginning.
