Although Ubisoft hasn't shared full details on what the July 9th update features, the official X account has confirmed the update will fix performance issues for PS5 players and an issue that involves players earning no RP after completing a Ranked match.
These issues have impacted several players in recent weeks but it's positive to see Ubisoft address the problems as fast as possible. Once the full patch notes appear, we'll update the guide with a closer look at what's changed and what's been fixed.
When is the next XDefiant update?
Information on when the next XDefiant update following July 9th's changes hasn't appeared yet. If there are any problems that surface, the chances of another update arriving before the end of the month is high.
If it's smooth sailing, then Season 2 could be the next time the XDefiant servers are temporarily switched off to apply another dose of changes to ensure smooth gameplay is maintained throughout.
