Wildcard have announced the organization's first signing following the departures of Dylan "Bosco" Bosco and Chris "Spiff" Park in February 2025 as the team have decided to add Joan "bbySharKK" Benito.
The French player has been competing in Europe's third and second tier for the last three years, with his most notable season being 2024. After spending slightly over a year in the French esports organization Make Your Destiny, he joined Project X.
His best results came for the European orgless mix as he helped the team to secure a second-place finish in the R6 Central Combine 2024. In the grand final, the roster lost against Team Secret Academy.
While competing for Project X, the French was also part of the orgless roster Odyssey, where he competed in the Saudi eLeague 2024 Major 3 Open Qualifier. After clinching a spot to compete in the Saudi eLeague 2024 Major 3, the Saudi Arabian and French mix was picked up by Onyx Revens. Unfortunately, the team could only win two of their nine matches.
Following his experience in the MENA region, the French player continued competing for Project X. Eventually, he joined other orgless projects to compete in regional qualifiers including the R6 South Breach 2024 November, the Six Invitational 2025 Europe and MENA Open Qualifiers, and the Malta Cyber Series: VIII qualifiers.
With bbySharKK arrival in Wildcard, the player could become the third French player to compete in North America's top flight after Léo "Alphama" Robine, who was part of eUnited between December 2019 and October 2020, and Alexandre "BlaZ" Thomas, who was part of Parabellum Esports from March 2022 to February 2023. However, with a transfer window opening right after Reload, this could change.
