Season 2025 Act 3 is coming for Valorant players, and many wonder what's coming to the game this time. Riot has already confirmed some of the changes for this act and players are awaiting for more teasers or news.
While we wait for more information, we have compiled all the confirmed details along with a few of our expectations about the new act.
Release date
Season 2025 Act 3 of Valorant is expected to begin on Wednesday, April 30th for North American, LATAM, and Brazil servers at 6:00 am PT. European and Asian servers will have to wait until Thursday, May 1st.
The game could go through a maintenance period before the release of the new act, but this is usually announced one or two days before through the Riot server status website.
Expectations
Given that the previous two acts introduced new agents, there is zero chance a playable character is coming with this one. The lack of teasers is also a big indicator that the next agent will arrive sometime later in the year.
On the other hand, we haven't received a new map for the main mode since the introduction of Abyss in June 2024. Since that, the developer has only added maps for the Deathmatch side of the game. There is a small chance we could get a new one, however, no teasers for this is also a bad sign.
This act will most likely only introduce small new features and quality-of-life additions, meaning we should expect anything big.

- The 10.08 patch will make a change in the competitive map pool, removing Fracture and adding Sunset back in.
- Act 3 will bring a new skin bundle for the shop, with rumors suggesting it might be a second edition of the Prelude to Chaos skinline.
