A big patch to close out the current Act

Although a big part of the community is focused on Champions 2025, a new patch is coming to Valorant: version 11.06. The update is set to arrive in the middle of the biggest VCT tournament of the year, and it will likely be the last one before the next act.

Now that a few teasers and information have been released by Riot, we have put together everything we know about this update so far.

When does Valorant patch 11.06 come out?

Patch 11.06 of Valorant is scheduled to come out on Tuesday, September 16th, or Wednesday, September 17th, depending on the region you play.

The update's rollout will begin on Tuesday at 6:00 AM PT for North America, LATAM, and Brazil servers. European servers will have to wait until Wednesday, as the patch's rollout usually begins at 4:00 AM CEST.

What can we expect from the patch notes?

The patch notes for patch 11.06 of Valorant will be posted once the rollout begins on servers from the America region. In the meantime, we can speculate and look at what Riot has confirmed or teased so far.

For starters, the new patch will add the long-awaited replay system to the game. Although it won't be available to all modes at the start, it will finally give players the ability to look at previous matches and offer a better solution to VOD reviewing.

Apart from that, the update will add a new bundle to the shop, and thanks to the latest teaser posted on the game's X account, we now know a new Prelude to Chaos bundle is coming. In case you haven't seen it, here is the teaser:

The Prelude of Chaos 2.0 skins should be revealed shortly after the patch rollout begins, and the bundle will arrive in the shop two days after the patch drops in each region.

Since this could be the last update before the next act and given that Champions 2025 is underway, we are not expecting major changes to agents or weapons (although a nerf to the Odin would be nice, Riot...). However, balance changes wouldn't be uncalled for, so we will keep our eyes open for those.

Quality-of-life additions, UI changes, and optimizations are also likely to come with this patch. One thing we will for sure see are bug fixes, since that is present in almost every update. Once the patch notes are available, we will update this article to add all the missing information, so you know what's new or what's changing with this version.
