A Halloween-themed season is coming to Overwatch 2 with Season 19. Haunted Masquerade has been officially revealed, and Blizzard has revealed a ton of content, including two mythic skins, another mythic weapon, new skins, a teaser for the next hero, and more.

While we wait for the season to kick off, here is a summary with all the information about the content arriving in this season.

When does Overwatch 2 Season 19 come out?

Overwatch 2 Season 19 is scheduled to come out on Tuesday, October 14, at 11:00 am PT (7:00 PM BST). A new patch will add all the content, and PC players will be able to preload it through the Battle.net launcher.

The season will last around eight weeks, with a major mid-season update arriving in the middle to add a second batch of content.

Skins and cosmetics

For starters, the season brings two mythic skins instead of just one like we are used to. The first one is Divine Druid Lifeweaver, which you can look at in the trailer and in the picture below.

This mythic skin will change the way customization options are distributed across the four levels. Here is what you'll get with every level:

  • Level 1: Base skin and custom VFX for abilities
  • Level 2: Customization options for Lifeweaver's back piece
  • Level 3: Color customization
  • Level 4: Ambient VFX

The second mythic skin will be for Junkrat, and Blizzard confirmed this will go live with the mid-season patch.

Kiriko will receive the mythic weapon for this season, titled Spirit Keeper, and will customize her kunai, healing ofudas, and suzu ball.

The weapon includes a special VFX when using the suzu ability, which can be unlocked at a certain level of the mythic.

Now jumping into the battle pass, here is the image with all the legendary skins that will be included for this season:

These won't be the only skins available in the pass, as more epic skins will probably be available as rewards. Here is the image compiling many legendary skins coming to the shop throughout the season:

The image includes two skin collections, the Archangels and the Spirits collections. The archangel skins for Mercy, Baptiste, Freja, Genji, Pharah, and Sigma will be available from October 14 to 27.

On the other hand, the Spirit skins for Kiriko, Ashe, Reaper, Widowmaker, and Roadhog will be available from October 28 to November 10.

Stadium content

Hazard, Sojourn, and Torbjörn are joining the Stadium roster at the start of the season. The Busan Sanctuary Control map will also be added, adapting another normal map into this mode.

The season also introduces Combat Text, a new floating text on-screen for Stadium matches, where you will be able to see your damage and healing numbers. The text can be enabled or disabled, and customized with different font sizes and colors.

Another new feature coming to this mode is Gadgets, abilities that can be activated once during a game through a customizable hotkey.

Other details

Here are other details about Season 19's new content so you don't miss out on anything important:

  • Halloween Terror is back with new challenges and rewards.
  • A new mode titled Haunted Masquerade, just like the season, will allow players to wear a mask with the head of a different hero than the one they're using and lend one of their abilities.
  • The One Punch Man collaboration returns with new skins, including one for Ashe.
  • Hero 45 will have a trial this season, which is expected to take place after the mid-season patch. A teaser for the new hero appears at the end of the trailer.
