Y11S2.2 Patch Notes: Jäger becomes a three speed operator and gets weapon buff, Zofia gets three concussion and impact grenades, 1v1 playlist is back, and more!

Y11S2.2 is going to make things a bit more spicy.

Zofia Siege

Ubisoft have published today the Y11S2.2 Patch Notes, including information on the buffs and nerfs that will be introduced in the next Rainbow Six Siege update.

As in previous patches, Ubisoft's philosophy has stayed the same: buffing rather than nerfing. However, nerfing operators is also important if needed; that's the case of Dokkaebi, who has already got two tweaks since its remastered version came out.

Here's a look at what Y11S2.2 will include, including operator balancing changes and the return of the 1v1 Arcade Playlist.

Zofia

Zofia got buffed with the release of Operation System Override as she became a two-speed operator, which was already a good change. However, an even bigger buff will be implemented in Y11S2.2: Zofia will get an extra concussion grenade as well as an extra impact grenade.

Jäger

Jäger has also stolen the show as Ubisoft is making the German defender a three-speed operator. Additionally, Ubisoft have decided to buff Jäger's 416-C, including the following tweaks:

  • Vertical: Reduced Vertical recoil on all burst stages.
  • Horizontal: Smoothed lateral recoil on all burst stages.
  • Recoil Evolution: The hardest part of the recoil will start on bullet 10 instead of 8, also has been generally softened.

Wamai

Wamai's MAG-NET System is also getting buffed. It charge update frequency has been changed from 40 to 20 seconds. He will also be able to generate seven charges. Additionally, their activation time has been reduced from 1.5 to 0.5 seconds.

Dokkaebi

As previously mentioned, Dokkaebi is getting nerfed again. Here's what Ubisoft are changing:

  • Cooldown is now per-target (from global ability).
  • Cooldown: 14 seconds (from 7).

Additionally, Wamai is getting a Deployable Shield and a C4, which will replace his impact grenades.

Rauora

Rauora's D.O.M. Panel cooldown between shots has been reduced from 3 to 1 second.

Melusi

Melusi's Banshees will have a larger area of effect, increasing from 4 to 4.3 meters.

Twitch

Twitch's Shock Drone will recharge its lasers quicker, from 30 to 28 seconds.

Lesion

Lesion's Gu Mine refill time has been reduced from 30 to 25 seconds.

Arcade 1v1 Bomb

Ubisoft have decided to bring back the 1v1 playlist. Coastline, Consulate, and Outback have been added to the game mode's map pool. Meanwhile, House has been removed.

Other aspects to keep in mind:

  • Operator Attrition replaces Operator Ban.
  • Every Operator can be played, except Montagne, Blackbeard, Blitz, and Clash.
  • Preparation Phase lasts 15 seconds instead of 30.
  • Objective site location is revealed at the beginning of the round.
  • Reinforcements pool has been reduced from 10 to 6.
