As revealed during the Six Invitational 2027, Rainbow Six Siege's Year 11 Season 3 is bringing exciting new features, including a new operator (a defender) and multiple operator balancing changes.

We have written this article to give you everything you need to know about when Rainbow Six Siege's new season, Year 11 Season 3, will be released.

When will Rainbow Six Siege's Year 11 Season 3 be released?

Rainbow Six Siege's new season, Year 11 Season 3, will be released in the first week of September. Whilst an official release date hasn't been confirmed yet by Ubisoft, we expect Rainbow Six Siege's new season to be released on September 1, 2026.

We believe Rainbow Six Siege's Year 11 Season 3 will be released on September 1, 2026, based on multiple events, including:

• Year 11 Season 3 Reveal Panel to take place on August 15, 2026. Usually, Rainbow Six Siege's new seasons are deployed two weeks after their reveal panel. As new seasons are always released on a Tuesday, this already makes September 1, 2026, the best possible guess.
• BLAST top flight divisions are scheduled to begin in early September. Whilst the majority of top flight divisions are set to kick off on September 7, South America's top flight is scheduled to start on September 5. As top flight leagues begin after the new patch has been released, these starting dates confirm us that September 1, 2026, is the most probable date for the launch of Rainbow Six Siege's Year 11 Season 3.

Rainbow Six Siege's Year 11 Season 3 will be the penultimate season of the year. The fourth and last one is expected to be released in December 2026, two weeks after the conclusion of the BLAST R6 Major Osaka, which will be played between November 7 and November 15, 2026.

In Year 12, Ubisoft will start releasing a new operator in every season. This is something fans had been asking for a while now. We expect more maps and new features to be added in the game too!

Rainbow Six Siege's new season will be revealed on August 15, 2026, shortly before the start of the Esports World Cup 2026 grand final. The official time for the Rainbow Six Siege Year 11 Season 3 Reveal Panel is August 15, 2026, between 5 PM and 6 PM CEST.

Unfortunately, we don't know much about Rainbow Six Siege's new season. We know that Year 11 Season 3 will bring a new defender, who will be Egyptian. Their ability will be a direct counter to shield operators such as Montagne or Blitz.
