The end of Fortnite's Chapter 6 Season 3 is just around the corner. With the current season officially reaching its conclusion on August 8, 2025, this means that there's just a fortnight left of the superhero season. However, this is coming to an end with a bang.
As in previous chapters of Fortnite, Epic Games is celebrating a special event to conclude Fortnite Super. While not many details have been revealed yet, the leaked video of the event seems to display the Kraken taking over Fortnite's map. All of the action is pressumably going to take place on Demon's Domain, which could get destroyed during the event.
With so much going on in the Fortnite Super Showdown event, players are already thrilled and want to see with their own eyes what's going to happen. It's hard to say yet, but we know when the action will take place!
What time does the Fortnite Super Showdown event start?
The Fortnite Super Showdown event will start on August 2, 2025, at 2:30 PM ET. The doors to enter the event will open half an hour earlier, at 2:00 PM ET.
The keyart of the Fortnite Super Showdown event displays Superman and a bunch of other Fortnite characters looking at the sky, with some of them aiming their guns towards an unknown enemy. The map on the picture seems to be destroyed, possibly affected by the event's villain.
Although this hasn't been confirmed, the Fortnite community believes the event's villain will be the Kraken. In the leaked video previously mentioned, we can see a tentacle with an eye, meaning the Kraken is likely to feature in the event. It's still unknown how the players will be able to interact in the event.
