Since it was introduced last season, the CR-56 AMAX has remained one of the strongest assault rifle options in Warzone. Keeping the design and behaviour of the Modern Warfare (2019) version, the weapon deals a good amount of damage in no time, making it super competitive in the current meta.
If you haven't tried it or want to make sure that you're running the correct attachments, we have prepared a guide with a build that should work effectively.
Best CR-56 AMAX loadout
Once you unlock and level up the AMAX, here are the attachments we recommend using for Warzone:
- Optic: Volzhskiy Reflex
- Muzzle: Compensator
- Barrel: Gain-Twist Barrel
- Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
- Magazine: Extended Mag I
The build is pretty standard, with the Compensator being used instead of the Monolithic Suppressor. This is simply because the latter has a bigger negative impact on the ADS speed, which affects the player's reaction time.
As always, we have gone with the Volzhskiy Reflex as the main optic, but you can change it with another one with a similar augment if you prefer it.
