Area 99 is the next map coming to Call of Duty: Warzone, as announced through the game's social media accounts.
The map has been exclusively designed for Warzone's Resurgence game mode and here's everything you need to know about it before it's available to play.
When is Area 99 coming out?
Area 99 will be released on November 14 as part of the Season 1 content for Warzone. The season will kick off on that same day for Black Ops 6, also bringing a large variety of content to Treyarch's newest title.
In other words, while Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will get three brand-new maps on November 14, players will also have the chance to play Area 99 on Warzone.

Area 99's design
Area 99 is a map that's located in the Nevada desert. This should be a special map for Call of Duty fans as it tells the story of Nuketown, which was released in Black Ops 6's multiplayer on November 1.
The map's heart is found in the Reactor, where we believe most of the action will take place. Around the reactor, we find plenty of other locations, with the Pods and the Mannequin Assembly probably becoming two of the most iconic parts of the map.
On November 9, Call of Duty's official X account posted a one-minute video showing some of the locations found on Area 99. On the map, players will see a lot of mannequins, which are part of Nuketown's identity.
