Virtus.pro have become the second team to qualify for the BLAST R6 Major Osaka Swiss Stage from the event's play-ins. They followed the footsteps of DarkZero Esports, who were the first to do so after beating LOS in the first Upper Bracket Final.
Virtus.pro had a difficult path, as they had to beat KINGZERO eSports and Weibo Gaming to reach Osaka's Swiss Stage. Although the Bears had no major issues against the Hong Kongese-majority lineup, the team was pushed to map three by Weibo Gaming after two close games on Chalet and Fortress.
Surprisingly enough, the final map of the series, Bank, was everything but close; it was a flawless win for the European roster. The result was enough for the team to qualify for Osaka's Swiss Stage, joining the rest of teams in the tournament.
Weibo Gaming will have a second chance to reach Osaka's Swiss Stage tomorrow as they will face off against the winner of the series between All Gamers and TYLOO.
