Villa to replace Consulate in Rainbow Six Siege's competitive map pool

The Italian map is back to competitive play!

Villa Rainbow Six Siege

Rainbow Six Siege Esports has confirmed that Villa has replaced Consulate in the Rainbow Six Siege competitive map pool. The Italian map will feature in professional matches starting from the BLAST R6 2026 Stage 2.

Villa was introduced to Rainbow Six Siege with the release of Operation Para Bellum in June 2018. The last time it was seen in competitive play in a Tier 1 competition was in M80's 2-1 victory against w7m esports at the Gamers8 2023, played in July 2023.

Villa has been reintroduced to Rainbow Six Siege's competitive map pool after Ubisoft's tweaks to the Italian map introduced to the game in Operation Split Fire. Ubisoft reshaped the basement, moving the Library bomb there. The addition of Villa also means that Consulate has dropped from the map pool.

Consulate was one of the least played maps in recent tournaments. At the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2026, Consulate was only seen five times in action. At the BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City, the map was only played thrice.
