Valorant Season 2025 Act 2: Everything you need to know about the content

Season 2025 Act 2 is next in the calendar for Valorant players, which means new content is approaching Riot's shooter. From a completely new agent to new cosmetics through the battle pass and the item shop.

While we wait for the new act to launch, we have gathered all the relevant details about the upcoming additions so you can read about them and prepare accordingly.

Release date

Season 25 Act 2 for Valorant is scheduled to come out on Tuesday, March 4/Wednesday, March 5, depending on the region you play.

Patch 10.04 will go live that same day to add all the new content on both PC and console. A maintenance period could take place before its release, but this is usually announced a day before through the game's status page.

Agent 28: Waylay

Waylay will be the next agent joining the Valorant roster and her official reveal took place before the grand finals at Masters Bangkok. The new duelist agent uses light-themed abilities and here is her official reveal trailer:

Other details

These are other minor details about what we will see in the upcoming season:

  • The new Cyrax bundle will be added to the store two days after patch 10.04 drops.
  • The new agent introduces a new type of debuff called Hinder, which slows the following gameplay mechanics: Fire Rate, Recoil Recovery, Equip Time, Reload Speed, Movement Speed, and Jump Speed
