On May 13, 2025, Ubisoft announced an update affecting the game's R6 Credit packs. The changes will be introduced to Ubisoft's FPS with the release of Rainbow Six Siege X in June 10, 2025.
According to Ubisoft's official blog post, these changes will be made so Ubisoft can "continue delivering a consistent, high-quality experience - now and in the future."
Ubisoft has decided to not make changes to the packs of 600 and 1,200 R6 Credits. However, Ubisoft has taken the decision to eliminate the 2,670 R6 Credits pack, worth USD$19,99, which will be replaced with a 3,300 R6 Credits pack, worth USD$25.
Additionally, Ubisoft has made small tweaks to the two most expensive R6 Credits packs, as the amount of R6 Credits included in each pack will be reduced. Starting from June 10, 2025, the USD$50 pack will include 7,200 R6 Credits (vs. 7,560) and the USD$100 pack will include 15,000 R6 Credits (vs. 16,000).
This is the first time in almost a decade that Ubisoft makes a change to R6 Credits packs.
