It's fair to say Ubisoft left the whole Rainbow Six Siege community excited with what's to come to the game in the next games.
First, Ubisoft revealed the game's new operator, Rauora, a two-speed, two-health attacker who has access to the D.O.M. Launcher and a new weapon, the MK2 Machine Pistol.
Second and most importantly, Ubisoft revealed Rainbow Six Siege's new chapter: Rainbow Six Siege X, which will be unveiled in Atlanta, Georgia, on March 13.
Although the community is thrilled by what's coming to the game in the next few months, it's time to focus on what's just around the corner, and that's the next season.
As revealed during the Six Invitational 2025, the previously mentioned Rauora will be introduced to the game in Year 10 Season 1, which Ubisoft calls Operation Prep Phase.
While Ubisoft's official announcement made on February 16 unveiled that the Operation Prep Phase Test Server would be open this week, a specific date wasn't released. Well, we now know the exact day, as Operation Prep Phase has been released on February 18 and will be open until the season goes live.
For those unaware, Operation Prep Phase is expected to be released on March 4. Only ten days later, Ubisoft will reveal the future of the game during the Rainbow Six Siege X Showcase.
Therefore, if you want to try out Rauora and other new features, take a look at Operation Prep Phase's Test Server and, most importantly, report any bugs you spot in R6Fix!
